Use the library at home!

The library catalogue can now be accessed from the link on the school web-site both at school and from home. Log –on to the site using your normal school log-in and you will be able to

• Locate all books/dvds in both upper and lower school libraries
• Get direct access to websites of interest
• Do a search by author, title or subject
• Compile personal lists of books /websites for coursework or general reading
• Make a reservation for a book you want to read
• Write a review of a book or website you found useful or novel you enjoyed
• Read reviews by other pupils or staff of books you might enjoy
• Look at the ‘returns trolley’ to see what others have been reading
• Find out which is ‘book of the week’
• View the ‘top ten’ and new books/dvds as they are added with summaries of their contents
• Read about events happening in the library

If you experience difficulties accessing the catalogue from home ensure your computer has the Microsoft Silverlight web browser plug-in. If not an easy download can be found at www.silverlight.net
