Due to commence on Tuesday, 23rd February 2010 and will run for six weeks, the last session being on Tuesday, 30th March 2010. Time 3.30pm to 5.00pm in BA1 Art Room, Lower School.
Students from Hayesfield and Beechen Cliff braving the cold, snowy weather of Wales, training for their Gold Duke of Edinburgh last weekend.

The Parent Partnership Service have arranged an Anti-Bullying workshop on Saturday 6th March 2010 from 9.00am - 1.00pm at Fry Club and Conference Centre, Somerdale, Keynsham.
Robert Higgs, playwright, author and Kidscape consultant will perform a play, based on personal experience, followed by a Question and Answer session and Workshop.
Parents - Free, Professionals £10.00 each. Closing date for places is Friday 26th February, 2010.

In the event of Hayesfield Girls' School being declared closed due to bad weather, external examinations will run as published on the Upper School site. Therefore, if you have an examination you should attend at the published time if it is safe for you to travel. If you cannot get to school for your examination because of the weather conditions please telephone the school and leave details of your name and which examination you should be attending.
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) which consists of AQA, City & Guilds, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR, SQA and WJEC, have issued a Severe weather conditions statement. Bath Schools Fencing Competition
On Saturday 12th December 2009 in Ralph Allen Sports Hall, 12 Hayesfield students represented the school in the Annual Schools Fencing Tournament.
The girls did amazingly well with Hayesfield taking 1st and 2nd place in Years 7-10. They also won the cup for the best school results against at least 6 other schools.

Well done also to Mallory Parker, Alex Clothier, Kate Towner, Thea Stevenson and Elizabeth Wood who all got medals for participating.

Netball Match Results
Matches were held on Wednesday 14th October against Chew Valley. We are pleased to report wins by all three teams – Year 7 in their first ever match, Year 8 and Year 9.
If you have registered for ParentMail, you will be receiving an electronic copy of the Weekly Bulletin this week.
