Sixth Form Parents Information

The Sixth Form represents a transition from a child environment to an adult environment.   Our students are expected to take responsibility for themselves and our tutors work with students to give them the necessary organisational skills.   However we recognise that successful students benefit from the active support of their parents and we keep your parents informed of your progress through Snapshot Reviews, Parents’ Evenings and Reports.

While we will always discuss concerns about progress with the student, we will also invite parents into school at other times than Parents’ Evenings if we feel the situation warrants it.   Parents are always welcome to contact the school if they have concerns of their own.

The school website has a parents’ section and a weekly bulletin for students and parents.
Hayesfield has an active Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA).
